Jewish camp matters! In my over 35 years of experience with Jewish camp, starting when I was 7 years old as a camper and all the way until now where I am in my 15th year as a Jewish camp professional, the magic of camp is the same. The recipe for camp works. It instills in Jewish children a love of being Jewish in a world where it's harder and harder to be Jewish. It gives children opportunities to learn independence, try new things, and make lasting and meaningful friendships. And as anyone that has attended camp knows, it's really hard to put what is so special about it into words.

Nearly half of the campers at Camp Alonim receive some kind of financial assistance to attend camp. Without it, they could not afford camp. No donation is too small!
