THE RIDE
Tour de Summer Camps riders choose between four routes - 18, 36, 62 and 100 miles - each tailored to cyclists of different skill levels. Each ride begins and ends at Camp Alonim on the Brandeis-Bardin Campus of the American Jewish University in Simi Valley. To register for the ride, participants must be 13 years of age or older on event day to be on the course with an adult, parent or guardian.
Course Start Times:
7:00 am - 100 and 62 mile rides
9:00 am - 36 and 18 mile rides
To help us send more kids to Jewish summer camps, the suggested fundraising minimum goals are $500 for ages 30 and up, $250 for ages 18 to 29, and $180 for ages 7 to 17. Invite your family, friends, and co-workers to join you in meeting and exceeding your fundraising goal!
18 Mile Ride - 9:00 am Start

Begin your ride on the beautiful grounds of Camp Alonim at American Jewish University’s Brandeis-Bardin Campus. Enjoy a predominantly flat ride through Simi Valley, passing community parks along the way. Return by way of Simi Valley’s lively streets to the post-ride festivities at Camp Alonim. 36 Mile Ride - 9:00 am Start

Begin your ride on the beautiful grounds of Camp Alonim at AJU’s Brandeis Bardin Campus. Enjoy a flat ride out of downtown Simi Valley, then challenge yourself with moderate climbs on the Northside of Simi Valley. Afterwards, expect rolling hills along tree-lined streets in Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks. There will be some gradual inclines on your return to Simi Valley, before you finish and enjoy the post-ride festivities at Camp Alonim.

Begin your ride on the beautiful grounds of Camp Alonim at AJU’s Brandeis Bardin Campus. Enjoy a flat ride out of downtown Simi Valley, then challenge yourself with moderate climbs on the Northside of Simi Valley. Afterwards, expect rolling hills in Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks. After a steep descent down Potrero, you will travel through quiet Ventura County farmland and scenic Camarillo countryside until the final climb back to Simi Valley, and return to the post-ride festivities at Camp Alonim.

100 Mile Ride - 7:00 am Start

Begin your ride on the beautiful grounds of Camp Alonim at AJU’s Brandeis Bardin Campus. Enjoy a flat ride out of downtown Simi Valley, then challenge yourself with moderate climbs on the Northside of Simi Valley. Afterwards, expect rolling hills in Newbury Park and Thousand Oaks. After a steep descent down Potrero, you will cruise through quiet Ventura County farmland and take in the coastal views of Oxnard, Port Hueneme and Ventura. Return alongside the scenic Camarillo countryside to the final climb back to Simi Valley and the post-ride festivities at Camp Alonim.
